I’d like to introduce you to people close to my heart, some I have worked with for almost two decades.

Let me introduce you to Lisa, who came to me 10 years ago with a back issue when pregnant. She had been recommended by a sports doctor who gave her my details and told her to give it a go.

As a keen marathon runner, a musician, and a mum of six, she has a vast network of people through all these activities.

I have seen her through ankle sprains, calf issues, hamstring tears, back injuries and tight shoulders.

Lisa says; “First person I come to with any injury or niggle, finds and sorts everything”

She has sent me 3 of her children, her husband (who usually hates massage), her musician friends, friends, neighbours, her reluctant mechanic and most recently her treasured priest.

Initially she sent a pregnant friend who she knew from orchestra. Said friend then sent her husband who is now one of my most frequent customers. This person is also a teacher so sent a teacher friend. This teacher friend has sent multiple people from her running club, becoming another of my best referrals.

It just goes to show the nature of how referrals spiral and how far reaching people’s nets are. When people are recommended they come to you with a familiar attitude and an inbuilt trust. But it’s never just about the physiological stuff. We’ve seen each other through deaths, births and marriages. She’s visited me at six different venues and we even found out together when she got off the couch that the queen had died.
